A Redbutan Privé Edition is a numbered Hyper Jewelry series issued under a fixed cap (for example: 12 only worldwide). Each number is commissioned, documented, and transferred through a Surat-only atelier-to-collector handover by private appointment.
How Privé Editions work
Fixed cap
A Privé Edition is defined by a hard limit (e.g., 12 only). Once filled, it is closed.
Numbered issuance
Each accepted commission is issued a number within the series. The number is part of the work’s identity.
No stock
Redbutan does not mass-produce or hold inventory. Each number is made-to-order after acceptance.
Surat-only transfer
Custody begins at a private handover in Surat—inspection, dossier issuance, and acceptance in one controlled moment.
Edition Terms
What does “12 only worldwide” mean?
It means the series has a fixed cap of 12 accepted commissions globally. After 12 numbers are issued and completed, the Privé Edition is closed.
Is a Privé Edition the same as bespoke?
No. A Privé Edition is a capped numbered series of a defined design. Bespoke is a separate commissioning path with its own scope, acceptance, and authorship.
Do you keep pieces in stock?
No. Privé Editions are made-to-order after Request Consideration is accepted.
Can I choose my edition number?
Number allocation depends on availability and maison discretion. Preferred numbers can be requested, but cannot be guaranteed.
Can the edition be extended beyond the cap?
No. The cap is the point. Redbutan does not reopen closed editions.

Submit Request Consideration. If accepted, commissioning terms are confirmed and payment instructions are issued for bank transfer (RTGS)
Do you ship Privé Editions?
No. Redbutan uses Surat-only atelier-to-collector transfer by private appointment.
What is the typical timeline?
For Masterpieces already defined on the website (not bespoke), typical completion is 8 to 12 weeks, depending on complexity and commissioning queue.
Are sales final?
Yes. Because each work is made-to-order, all sales are final once crafting begins. No returns. No refunds. No exchanges.
