Because every piece is crafted uniquely for you, all sales are final. We do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds.

 

1. Scope & Applicability

This No Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Redbutan Global (OPC) Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Redbutan")’s online store (www.redbutan.com) and any authorized channels operated by Redbutan. By placing an order with REDBUTAN GLOBAL (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, you (“Customer”) acknowledge and accept the following terms in full. This Policy is intended to safeguard Redbutan’s interests—given the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our jewel creations—while emphasizing our unwavering commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

All products displayed on the Redbutan website are offered strictly on a made-to-order basis. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that each item is manufactured individually upon receipt of your confirmed order and full payment. No bespoke or custom modifications (beyond those expressly described on the product page) are available under this policy.

1. Final Sale & No Returns:

All Redbutan pieces are bespoke, crafted uniquely to order, and thus all sales are considered final. Once a commission is placed and payment is made, no cancellations, returns, or refunds will be accepted. This policy is non-negotiable and is a condition of purchase.

2. Advance Payment & Secure Commissioning:

To initiate the crafting of any Redbutan masterpiece, a 100% advance payment is required. This ensures that the piece is reserved exclusively for the client and that all materials and craftsmanship are allocated specifically to their commission.

3. Made-to-Order

3.1.  Redbutan’s jewelry is crafted strictly on a made-to-order basis, whether it is a piece displayed on the website or a fully customised bespoke creation. Each piece is designed and produced only after receipt of Customer’s order, specifications, and applicable payment.

3.2    illustrative Images & Pre-Payment Modifications

    • All the Product images and descriptions are for reference; natural variations in colour, finish, and gemstone character are inherent.

    • Pre-Payment Modifications: If you wish to adjust any aspect of a displayed product (for example, stone choice or finish), please request a bespoke quote before completing payment. Such requests are treated as Bespoke Custom Creations and subject to Section 4 terms.

4. Bespoke Custom Creations

4.1 Design Brief & Approval

  • Bespoke orders require a signed design brief, which may be electronically executed. We will provide mock-ups (including 3D renderings where applicable). Production begins only after the Customer provides written, dated confirmation of approval (which may include a click-to-approve link or digital signature) of the final design and completes payment. The Customer acknowledges that this final approval is the absolute basis for the non-cancellation rule thereafter. Bespoke orders require a signed design brief and may incur a non-refundable design fee.

4.2 Revision & Cancellation

  • Mock-up Stage: You may request minor revisions at no extra charge; significant design changes may incur additional fees, which will be communicated in advance.

  • Once you approve the final mock-up and payment is made, cancellations and further changes are not allowed.

4.3 Strict No-Return Policy

  • All orders of jewellery pieces and every bespoke creations are non-returnable.

5. No Returns / No Exchanges

5.1. Irrevocable Final Sale All orders for Redbutan jewelry (including but not limited to rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants, cufflinks, and related accessories) are strictly final sale. As every piece is made-to-order upon commission, Redbutan does not accept returns, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges on any finished or in-progress jewelry item once payment has been processed.

5.2. No Alterations to Policy Requests for returns or exchanges—regardless of reason (e.g., change of mind, buyer’s remorse, gifting preferences, or financial disputes)—will be respectfully declined. By proceeding with payment, the Client acknowledges that they are commissioning a bespoke work of art, not purchasing a commoditized good.

5.3. Specific Exclusions (Customer, Natural & Synthetic Liability)

No returns, exchanges, or refunds shall be granted under any circumstances, including but not limited to the following scenarios:

  • Shipping Data Errors: The shipping address provided was incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. (Clients are solely responsible for verifying shipping details at checkout).
  • Delivery Failures: Delivery attempts failed after three (3) attempts by the courier, or the package was refused/unclaimed by the recipient. In such cases, re-shipping costs shall be borne entirely by the Client.
  • Inherent Characteristics (Natural Stones): The presence of natural inclusions, internal fractures ('jardin'), or color zoning in natural gemstones, which serve as proof of mined origin.
  • Inherent Characteristics (Synthetic/Lab-Grown Stones): Distinct visual or structural characteristics typical of laboratory growth processes (e.g., flux inclusions in synthetic rubies or growth lines in lab-grown diamonds). The Client acknowledges that "Synthetic" or "Lab-Grown" stones are chemically identical to mined stones but are not of natural earth origin.
  • Sizing discrepancies (e.g., ring too large or small). Customers must consult Redbutan’s size guide or request a ring sizer prior to ordering.
  • Wear & Tear: The item shows signs of wear, misuse, improper storage, or unauthorized alteration/repair by a third-party jeweler.
  • Made-to-order pieces (by definition) are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded—except in the case of a verified shipping error or production defect.

5.4. Gemstone Origin & Astrology Disclaimer

  • Material Selection: Redbutan offers both Natural (Mined) and Synthetic (Lab-Created) gemstones to cater to diverse client preferences. The specific nature of the stone (Natural vs. Synthetic) is explicitly stated on the Invoice and Product Certification.

  • Irrevocable Choice: By selecting a "Synthetic" or "Lab-Grown" option, the Client explicitly acknowledges that they are purchasing a man-made gemstone. Requests for returns or exchanges based on the stone's non-natural origin will be rejected as the nature of the material was disclosed prior to purchase.

  • Astrological Efficacy: Redbutan provides gemstones as per the Client's specifications (e.g., Ratti/Carat weight and Type). We do not guarantee specific astrological results, cosmic benefits, or energetic effects. The choice of using a Synthetic stone for astrological purposes rests solely with the Client's belief system.

5.5. Natural Stone Characteristics (Disclaimer)

For commissions involving Natural Colored Gemstones, the Client accepts that:

  • Inclusions are Proof: Unlike our flawless Synthetic stones, Natural gemstones will inherently possess internal characteristics, 'jardin' (in Emeralds), silk (in Rubies/Sapphires), or color zoning. These are guarantees of natural origin, not defects.

5.6. "Natural on Request" (Bespoke Sourcing Policy)

Redbutan offers the exclusive option to commission designs using Natural Colored Gemstones (e.g., Natural Colombian Emerald, Burmese Ruby, Ceylon Sapphire). This service is available strictly on a case-by-case basis and is subject to the following binding terms:

  • Bespoke Quotation: Prices displayed on the website are for the Standard Configuration (Synthetic). Requests for Natural stones will receive a separate, custom quotation based on current market value, carat weight, and origin.

  • Sourcing Timeline: The Client acknowledges that sourcing high-grade natural gemstones is a specialized process. Lead times for these commissions are estimates only and may be extended by 4-8 weeks to ensure the perfect specimen is acquired.

  • Market Fluctuation: Quotes for jewel pieces made with Natural Gemstones are valid for 48 hours only. Due to global market fluctuations, Redbutan reserves the right to adjust the final stone price if the deposit is not received within this window.

 

6. Cancellation & Modification Policy

6.1. Absolute No‑Cancellation Policy  

All orders placed with Redbutan are final, binding, and non‑cancellable from the moment purchase confirmation is issued. Due to the bespoke and ultra‑luxury nature of our creations, Redbutan does not accept cancellation requests under any circumstances, whether pre‑production or post‑production.

6.2. No Modifications  

Similarly, Redbutan does not permit modifications to confirmed orders. Choices regarding design, materials, gemstones, sizing, or finishes are deemed final at the time of purchase. Once confirmed, orders proceed directly into design and production without the possibility of alteration.

6.3. Rationale  

This policy safeguards the integrity of Redbutan’s master artisan process, ensures exclusivity of commissioned pieces, and protects the rarity of sourced materials. By eliminating cancellations and modifications, Redbutan guarantees that every creation remains uncompromised in craftsmanship, provenance, and value.

 

7. Quality Assurance & Defect Relief

7.1.   Inspection Prior to Dispatch. Every Redbutan creation undergoes a multi-stage quality inspection—performed by senior bench jewelers and a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) team.

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.1.   Accurate Information. It is Customer’s responsibility to provide precise order details—such as ring size, engraving text, or stone specifications—at the time of purchase. Redbutan is not liable for errors arising from incorrect information supplied by Customer.

8.2.   Proper Care & Handling. Redbutan jewelry represents an investment in artistry and value. Failure to follow the enclosed care instructions (e.g., avoiding harsh chemicals, storing pieces separately, periodic professional cleaning) may void any remedy for damage.

8.3 Proper Packaging for Returns

    When returning a piece for defect or shipping error, you must use the original jewelry box, dust bag, outer box, and any certificates or tags included. Failure to do so may result in refusal of the return or a reduced refund amount (to account for repackaging fees).

 

9. Legal Compliance & Consumer Rights

Legal Compliance & Binding Dispute Resolution. These terms are governed by Indian law. Any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to this Policy, the sale, delivery, or condition of the bespoke creation (excluding collection of undisputed sums due), shall be exclusively and finally resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be seated in Surat, Gujarat, conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties. The parties expressly waive any right to bring any action in any court, except for the enforcement of the arbitral award by the courts at Surat, Gujarat, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction for enforcement.

 

10. Value Proposition & Brand Assurance

11.1.   Artisanal Excellence. Every Redbutan piece is crafted by master artisans in Surat, drawing on generations of experience, meticulous hand-setting, and rigorous quality standards. This artisanal approach ensures that your purchase is not merely jewelry—but a legacy piece built to be cherished.

11.2.   Transparency & Trust. Redbutan’s strict “No Returns” framework stems from our pledge to deliver only the highest-caliber, bespoke creations. By eliminating resale or exchange risks, we maintain absolute confidence in every finished jewel sent to our discerning clientele.

11.3.   After-Sales Support. Even though returns are not permitted, Redbutan offers lifetime after-sales support: complimentary routine polishing, prong-checks, and resizing services (when technically feasible) for each high-jewel order. This ensures that your Redbutan creation not only holds value but evolves with you over time. 

11. Hallmarking & Certification

Redbutan supplies BIS-hallmarked gold jewellery with HUID where applicable. Customers may verify HUID via the BIS Care app (Verify HUID). Jewel piece and stone certificates (GIA/IGI/other, where applicable) accompany eligible pieces.

12. Customer Responsibility for Payment Authorization and Account Security

By commissioning a Redbutan piece and completing payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their payment credentials, including but not limited to card numbers, digital wallet access, banking details, or any associated authentication methods.

Once a transaction is authorized and processed through Redbutan’s secure payment gateway, it shall be deemed valid, final, and binding. Redbutan shall not be held liable for any unauthorized use of payment instruments, shared access, or negligence on the part of the customer in safeguarding their credentials.

The customer further acknowledges that claims such as “unauthorized access,” “third-party use,” or “accidental payment” will not constitute grounds for reversal, refund, or dispute once the order has been confirmed and production has commenced. The customer bears full responsibility for ensuring that all payment authorizations originate solely from their secure account or authorized representatives.

13. Amendment & Revision

Redbutan Global (OPC) Pvt Ltd reserves the right to update or amend this Policy at any time. All revisions will be posted at www.redbutan.com/returns-policy with an updated “Last Updated” date. Customers who have placed orders prior to any amendments will be governed by the Policy in effect on the date of purchase.
